How much could you borrow?

Use this calculator to get a rough idea of what you might be able to borrow. It is a starting point — not an offer or a guarantee.

Every lender looks at things differently — your income, outgoings, credit history, and deposit all play a part. That is exactly why speaking to a broker matters.

This calculator gives a general estimate only. Book a call to understand your real options based on your actual situation.

Know your credit history before you apply

Your credit score is just a number. What really matters is the history behind it — missed payments, active accounts, credit usage, and how that looks across the three main agencies.

See your full history

Check My File shows your credit history from all three UK agencies — Experian, Equifax and TransUnion — in one easy report.

About me

I am a 34-year old married father of two based in central Scotland. I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to own their own home and not be stuck renting forever.

I work with clients right across the Central Belt — Stirling, Falkirk, Alloa and Clackmannanshire, through to Dunfermline and Fife, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The reason I decided to become a mortgage adviser is simple: I am genuinely passionate about helping people improve their financial situation and get on the property ladder.
